Dr. Catallo is an Associate Professor, Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2001) and PhD in Nursing (2009) from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Cristina’s post-doctoral training (2009-2011), funded by the World Health Organization, focused on knowledge brokering interventions among policy audiences in Europe with Dr. John Lavis (Program in Policy Decision-Making, Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada) and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (Brussels, Belgium). Dr. Catallo’s program of research focuses on evaluating knowledge brokering approaches and interventions among policymakers, decision makers and organizations working as knowledge brokers. Using systematic review and mixed methods research, Cristina is currently examining how organizations act as knowledge brokers to change evidence use and practice among various audiences.

Kathryn Weaver is Nurse Psychotherapist and Associate Professor in the University of New Brunswick where she teaches mental health, community development, and advanced nursing practice; and healthcare ethics Instructor for Graduate and Medical students, Atlantic Region Training Centre, Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her PhD from the University of Alberta and postdoctoral fellowships through the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology and Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research. She has published more than 30 papers and is principle investigator of two documentaries, Through True Eyes: Recovery from Eating Disorders and It’s Not about Food!, produced by Atlantic Media works, Fredericton.

Fred Calixtro has completed his Doctor in Nursing Practice from Touro University Nevada. He is an Associate Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV. At Roseman, he teaches medica-surgical course. His passion is to eliminate lateral violence in nursing and nursing education

Dr. Halley-Boyce has been a registered nurse and a seasoned healthcare executive for decades. She has served in a number of offices in the hospital’s C-Suite including CEO, COO and Chief Nurse Executive Officer. Dr. Halley-Boyce maintains her own consultant firm, JHBALS Spectrum International, Inc. and additionally serves as an Associate Professor and the Director of the Health Systems Administration Graduate Program in the College of Nursing at Seton Hall University. Dr. Halley-Boyce is professionally recognized for her continuous pursuit of excellence in education and service delivery, her grace, and for her humanistic, servant leadership style.

Joseph Tan, PhD is Professor of eBusiness Innovation/eHealth Informatics, McMaster University. He has been named as among the “top 10 most influential informatics professors” on HealthTechTopia website,invited to publish in the scientific journal, Nature, and sits on multiple peer-review federal grant agencies and journal editorial boards. Dr. Tan has demonstrated high-performing skills and ability to serve in both academia and industry. To date, he has appeared as invited keynote for numerous local as well as major national and international conferences across North America, Asia, Africa, and elsewhere, and networks widely with key decision and policy makers apart from academic scholars and practitioners at local,provincial/state, national and international levels, including private, public and non-governmental organizations and universities. He is also the founding Editor-in-Chief, IJHISI and has served as distinguished faculty, invited speaker, panel moderator, research fellow and keynote for numerous local,national and international conferences across North America, Asia, Middle East and Africa. His overall career focus is on reshaping the landscape of IS/IT applications and promotion in e-Business innovation and e-Health informatics.

Hana Kadhom has 34 years of experience in Nursing as a Practitioner and Educator. Her experience has been across the Middle East and UK. She has obtained her PhD from Hull University (UK) and she has Postgraduate Diploma from British Universities (in Nursing Education and Health and Safety). She is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of Nursing Degree Bridging Program in Bahrain & Saudi Aramco
